Yeah, well…. I can’t help myself…. Here are a few more pics from our gig at the pool hall RoQ Sat Dec 1st.

First of all we’d like to thank EVERYONE at RoQ, the audience and DullBoy for a fantastic evening!!!

Saturday was no less than a monumental success!!!! Maybe not in amount of people in the audience – wasn’t bad, but not a top score – but gig wise…. GREAT support from a terrific crowd! They helped cheer us on, they screamed ‘hey! hey! hey!’ and waved their fists in the air, sang along and were simply brilliant!!! =)

Our only gig in our hometown Stockholm this year takes place at ROQ – the rocking pool hall at Gyldéngatan 2 (close to Odenplan). You got the date in the headline, and the time is around midnight.

I’ll make it easy for you and sort it all out:

Here’s a little thing that bugs me.

About four years ago, I got an idea for reality TV – a series. Why not make a ‘rockumentary’ series about an unknown rock band that keeps on going and keeps on going but without the financial success? You know, get a glimpse of the reality of most rock bands… As opposed to the likes of Ozzy or Gene Simmons.

So I spoke to a few TV production companies and a couple of larger Swedish networks/channels…. But no. My idea was turned down – nicely and politely, but firmly.

And what happens this September? One of the major channels I spoke to at the time makes a ‘rockumentary’ series about an unknown band. Yeah, it’s only viewable on their internet, they don’t air it to the larger audience, but still.

Of course, and I think they’re extremely aware of this fact, I can never prove it. I didn’t record the phone calls. And of course ideas can spring from different sources.

Coincidence? Maybe… But being the very same company I spoke to? hmmm…. Not so sure. The bloke I spoke to could very well have saved the idea in a drawer. That’s what people in creative jobs do. Perhaps he even waited deliberately a couple of years just to make sure I couldn’t sue… Perhaps it really IS a coincidence and someone else got the idea from nowhere, as it were.

Still. Pisses me off.

AC has made the first rough mix of our tune Bad Romance. Pop/rock tune with massive impact! GREAT!!! =D

Rehearsal tonight. Great fun!!!! New tune was rehearsed. Slightly leaning towards a popier sound. But nevertheless a great tune!

(And we’re still busy getting the recorded stuff together…..

Hmmmm…… What can I say? We got one song home from Tuesday’s recordings…. No mixing done, just adjusted levels so it’s a very rough cut….. And more backing vocals needed, but…. WOW!!! I didn’t know we could be THIS r’n'r!!!!!

Yes, we were working last night – after our day jobs – just to get closer to finishing the recordings so you can get to listen to them as soon as possible. See, we’re burning the midnight oil for you!!!

Yesterday night we laid down the lead vocals for two songs – Bad Romance and Sicken.
And tonight is another session to finalize lead vocals on the remaining two – Loser and A Little Bit Every Day.

After that, some choruses are needed and a proper mixing. Then we’ll take the recordings to a proper mastering studio and after THAT…. You can look forward to our first full-length production EVER! =D

Yep. It’s true. We’re back in the studio to finish the tracks we started working on before summer. Yesterday it was Johnny-O who laid down his wailing guitars and tonight it’s A.C. Reature who will make his amp howl like a werewolf crying – SCREAMING IN AGONY – to the moon for new blood….
